I frequently present on everything from Making & Coding for Social Good to Getting & Keeping Girls in STEM. I'm passionate about exchanging ideas and conversations with other passionate educators, and am always looking to partner with mission-aligned individuals and organizations.
I work with school and corporate settings to facilitate design thinking and making workshops. I love hands-on learning, so workshops are my go-to. Here's a sample:
Design Your Life (Romania 2018), Introduction to Design Thinking (Design Thinking Institute 2018), Design for Civics (SJSU 2019), Making & Coding for Social Good (ISTE 2019), etc.
The benefit of starting at MIT and going into education is that I have a strong network of people doing incredible things in both the technology and education space! I can recruit and/or serve on panels regarding girls in STEM, design thinking, deeper learning, progressive education, and assistive technology.
I love sparking important conversations by speaking on topics in education. Here's a sample:
Getting and Keeping Girls in Engineering (Chicago 2018), Engineering for Social Good (SXSW 2018), Why Invention Education Matters (CUE 2019), etc.
