From a young age, I loved building things. I started with building mousetrap-powered cars. I upgraded to building electric go-karts and award-winning assistive technologies like FingerReader.
By engineering impactful products, I felt empowered in an unfamiliar way. Why didn't I get this experience earlier? I became passionate about changing how and what students learn in classrooms. I became a teacher.
Passionate about impacting even more students, I spun out a class of mine into Project Invent, a national nonprofit bringing opportunities to innovate to everyone. As founder, I led the company to 1000s of empowered students and millions of dollars raised. Now, I'm working on new ways to impact education in the era of AI, at Playlab.
