From a young age, I loved building things. I started with building mousetrap-powered cars. I upgraded to building electric go-karts and award-winning assistive technologies like FingerReader.
By engineering impactful products, I felt empowered in an unfamiliar way. Why didn't I get this experience earlier? I became passionate about changing how and what we teach in classrooms. When I graduated college, I became a teacher.
Two years later, I spun out a class of mine into Project Invent, a national nonprofit bringing opportunities to innovate to everyone. We've empowered 1000+ students to invent solutions to real problems in their communities, and growing.
Now, I'm building Tandem to make mentorship and coaching accessible to everyone.
