As an MIT graduate, passionate educator, and dedicated entrepreneur, Connie has been both an inventor and invention educator. Her passion for empowering youth comes from her own experiences as a mechanical engineer and assistive technology designer. She worked in the MIT Media Lab on projects like FingerReader, a camera mounted on a ring to help blind people read on-the-go, and PenPal, a tremor-canceling pen for people with Parkinson’s. She now runs Project Invent to empower high school students everywhere to invent technologies that make a difference.
